Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while allowing us to manage our small-group tours effectively.

Cancellation by Guests

Cancellation Window Refund
More than 48 hours before tour Full refund
24–48 hours before tour 50% refund or full credit for future tour
Less than 24 hours before tour No refund (credit available at our discretion)
No-show No refund

How to Cancel

To cancel your booking:

  • Email us at hello@deetours.ca with your booking confirmation number
  • Or cancel through your Bookeo confirmation email

Cancellation time is determined by when we receive your request, not when you send it.

Rescheduling

Need to change your tour date? We're happy to reschedule at no additional charge if you contact us at least 24 hours before your original tour. Rescheduling requests within 24 hours are subject to availability and may incur a change fee.

Tip: Booking flexibility is important to us. If you're unsure about your schedule, consider booking closer to your travel dates or contact us about our flexible booking options for group tours.

Cancellation by DeeTours

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a tour. This may happen due to:

  • Weather: Severe weather conditions that make the tour unsafe (primarily affects cycling tours)
  • Minimum participants: If minimum participant numbers aren't met, we may cancel up to 24 hours in advance
  • Unforeseen circumstances: Guide illness, emergencies, or events beyond our control

If we cancel your tour, you will receive:

  • Full refund to your original payment method, OR
  • Credit for a future tour (valid for 12 months), OR
  • Rescheduling to another available date

Private and Group Bookings

Private tours and group bookings have modified cancellation terms:

  • More than 7 days before: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
  • 3–7 days before: 50% refund
  • Less than 3 days: No refund (rescheduling may be available)

Please contact us directly to discuss private booking terms before confirming.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates for DeeTours experiences are:

  • Valid for 12 months from purchase date
  • Non-refundable but transferable
  • Redeemable for any publicly available tour

Travel Insurance

We recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, especially if you're visiting from outside Toronto. This can protect you against unforeseen circumstances that might prevent you from attending your booked tour.
