Welcome to DeeTours Travel Company. By booking a tour or using our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings must be made through our website or authorized booking platforms.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
  • Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified.
  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time; however, confirmed bookings will be honored at the price quoted.

2. Tour Participation

  • Participants must arrive at the designated meeting point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
  • We cannot wait for late arrivals; no refunds will be provided for late or no-shows.
  • Participants must be physically capable of completing the tour. Please contact us in advance if you have any accessibility concerns.
  • For cycling tours, participants must have basic cycling proficiency and wear a helmet (required by Ontario law).
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • 48+ hours before tour: Full refund
  • 24-48 hours before tour: 50% refund or full credit for a future tour
  • Less than 24 hours or no-show: No refund

4. Weather and Tour Modifications

  • Walking tours operate rain or shine. We recommend appropriate clothing and footwear.
  • Cycling tours may be cancelled or rescheduled in severe weather conditions at our discretion.
  • If we cancel a tour due to weather, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
  • We reserve the right to modify tour routes due to construction, events, or other circumstances.

5. Assumption of Risk

Participation in walking and cycling tours involves inherent risks. By booking a tour, you acknowledge that:

  • You are voluntarily participating and assume all risks associated with the activity.
  • You are responsible for your personal belongings during the tour.
  • You will follow the guide's safety instructions at all times.

6. Liability

DeeTours Travel Company shall not be liable for:

  • Any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in our tours, except where caused by our negligence.
  • Loss of personal belongings during tours.
  • Circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, traffic, or third-party actions.

7. Photography and Media

We may take photographs or videos during tours for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your likeness unless you inform your guide otherwise at the start of the tour.

8. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to:

  • Treat guides and fellow participants with respect.
  • Refrain from disruptive behavior.
  • Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs that impair judgment.

We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior negatively impacts the tour experience, without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and tour materials, is the property of DeeTours Travel Company and is protected by copyright law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
